Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal data moloko ("we", "us") collects when you use moloko.gainers.website / moloko.dating (the "Service"), why we collect it, and what rights you have. By registering you consent to the processing described here.
1. What we collect

2. How your data is visible
- Your public circle, name, city and languages are visible to other users in Discover.
- Reach-out circles are visible to the person you sent them to.
- Your email, birth data and technical data are never shown to other users.
- If you share a circle outside moloko (Telegram, WhatsApp, etc.), that copy leaves our control — share thoughtfully.
3. Sign-in providers
If you sign in with Google (or Apple, when available), we receive your verified email address and first name from the provider — nothing more. We don't get your contacts or password.
4. Where data is stored & how long
- Data is stored on our server in the EU. Emails are sent through Resend (our email delivery provider).
- Profile data and circles are kept while your account exists.
- One-time email codes expire within 10 minutes and are stored hashed.
- When you delete a circle, its video file is removed from the server. When your account is deleted, all your profile data, circles, matches and messages are removed.
5. Who we share data with
We do not sell or rent your personal data. We share it only with the infrastructure needed to run the Service (hosting, email delivery) and if required by law.
6. Your rights
- Access / copy — ask what data we hold about you.
- Correction — fix your profile in the app or ask us.
- Deletion — delete circles in the app; request full account deletion by contacting us (we'll do it without undue delay).
- Withdraw consent — e.g. ask us to erase your optional birth data at any time.
7. Age
The Service is for adults (18+). We don't knowingly process data of minors; such accounts are deleted when discovered.
8. Security
HTTPS everywhere, hashed verification codes, rate-limiting against abuse, and access to the database restricted to the operator. No system is 100% secure, but we keep the attack surface small.
9. Changes
We'll update this policy as the Service grows (e.g. when astrology matching launches); material changes will be announced in the app.
